Our wines are the result of organic vineyard management and rigorous work from vine to bottle. Made from carefully selected organic grapes grown in our own vineyards in Los Chacayes, each wine expresses a defined identity, shaped by enological decisions aimed at preserving the character of the place.

GI LOS CHACAYES- VALLE DE UCO

All our wines are made exclusively from grapes grown in GI Los Chacayes, one of the most prestigious geographical indications within the Valle de Uco. Its natural conditions, including altitude, thermal amplitude, and soil diversity, allow for the production of high-quality grapes, resulting in wines of strong identity and international recognition.

NATURAL PROCESS

Our wines are made using selected yeasts and without additives, achieving an authentic expression of the grape, true to the characteristics of their place of origin.

PARCEL SELECTION

Our agronomists define specific parcels within the vineyard to obtain grapes that express the distinctive characteristics of each soil.

ORGANIC

Our production is certified organic by OIA (Organización Internacional Agropecuaria) and is also supported by a sustainability certification that validates our agricultural practices and the integral management of our vineyards.

SOIL & TERROIR

SOIL STUDIES

We work with specialists to study our soils in order to have a better understanding of the different styles of wine that we can produce in the vineyard. The heterogeneous soils, characteristic to Los Chacayes, make it so that the plot and micro-plot selection is very important. Stony soils and sandy soils are fermented in different vats in order for us to identify the diverse styles of wine.

TYPES OF TERROIR

The combination of altitude at 1250 meters above sea level, a semi-desert climate with 330 days of sun per year, warm days, cool nights, alluvial soil with excellent drainage, and the purest aquifer in the region flowing freely to irrigate the vineyards of Casa de Uco, all result in the most ideal conditions for winemaking and grape cultivation in this fantastic area.

SUSTAINABILITY

We believe in sustainability. We work under strict procedures, taking care of resources to maintain the natural ecosystem of the Uco Valley.

To achieve this mission, we have designed various strategies and we train our workers and partners on the importance of respecting each one:

We do not use chemical pesticides and we choose to fertilize with our natural compost.

We implement different tools to be more efficient in terms of natural and economic resources: water probes, test pits, and rhizotrons, allow us to have a better management of the soil-water relationship and also give us the opportunity to study the plants in each physiological stage..

We carry out cultural work to stimulate our vineyards. We prune under the double Guyot method; we move the soils to aerate them and stimulate root growth.

In the fermentation process we only use indigenous yeasts.

GLOBAL G.A.P.: Certification for good agricultural practices. This regulation evaluates the interaction between 3 important elements: environment, people and agriculture.
